Izzy Gizmo just loves to invent, but her inventions never seem to work the way she wants them to. When she finds a crow with a broken wing she just has to help. Izzy tries again and agin to build him a new pair of wings, but nothing is working.Can Izzy overcome her failures? Or will her new crow friend never fly again?

We discussed what inventions are and how everything was once invented by someone. We spoke about how over time inventions may change and adapt as a way of improving them. As an example we looked at and spoke about airplanes, cars and phones. The children enjoyed seeing how different these things were when they were first invented compared to now.
