Chinese New Year Day

 

Dear Parents/carers,

 

In prepertion for our upcoming Buddhist temple trip and to celebrate Chinese New Year, we are holding a Chinese New Year day next Tuesday, 5th February. During this day we’ll be taking part in art, writing and dancing activities as well as tasting traditional Chinese food. Children are invited to wear oriental clothing or the colours of the Chinese flag (red and gold) to school – we’ll also be face painting! PE and forest schools will still be taking place during the afternoon (for those children who have it). For more info, please speak to a member of staff.
