This morning we enjoyed a super assembly lead by Lesley. We started with a quiz all about Saint Valentine and found out that he used to live in Italy. We heard about how he became a Saint and how Valentine’s Day is celebrated today.

It was fantastic for the children to hear about the history of Saint Valentine rather than just associating the celebration with presents.
