PCSO Visit
Wed 09 Nov 2022Today we had a visit from our local PCSO. Pete spoke to children in each class about issues such as road safety and gave the children advice about keeping safe online. The children asked lots of interesting questions and really enjoyed meeting Pete.
We look forward to more visits from Pete in the future.

Parcel from Slovakia
Thu 03 Nov 2022Yesterday we received a parcel that had travelled all the way from Kosice in Slovakia!
Some of you may be aware that I was given the opportunity to visit Kosice last year as part of the Place Project and I worked with teachers from across the UK, Slovakia and Czech Republic looking at ways to develop the way we use our outdoor area.
I have kept in touch with several of the teachers but formed a great friendship with a teacher in Kosice called Martina. We thought it would be nice to link our classes and yesterday we received a surprise parcel in the post.
The children from the school in Kosice had decorated pegs for us and sent us halloween sweets. They had also created a game of guess who for us to play!
Crummock class are planning to send a parcel back to teach the children in Slovakia about the annual British tradition of Bonfire Night and introduce themselves.

Halloween Party Fun
Wed 02 Nov 2022On Monday 31st October, pupils in KS1 and KS2 were invited to attend a Halloween Party after school.
Lots of children came back for the event. There were some fantastic costumes and lots of fun was had, with plenty of party games, lots of dancing and refreshments too.
Many thanks to our staff and governor volunteers who helped make the event possible.
